Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Back Facial.
Your session begins with a consultation, followed by deep pore cleansing and steam to lift impurities, gentle extractions, a calming back mask, and LED light therapy. The therapist customizes products and provides aftercare to maximize results and comfort.
Most clients report minimal discomfort; extractions can cause brief pressure or mild stinging. We use gentle techniques and tailor product strength for sensitive skin. Discuss concerns during consultation and we will adjust pressure and methods accordingly.
A typical Back Facial lasts about 45 to 60 minutes depending on skin condition and the extent of extractions required. Please allow extra time for consultation and personalized aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment.
For maintenance we recommend scheduling every 4 to 6 weeks. If congestion is severe, more frequent visits may be advised initially. Regular treatments help prevent breakouts, improve texture, and sustain benefits from masks and LED therapy.
Avoid treatment if you have sunburn or a recent intense tan; wait until skin has healed, typically about two weeks. Sun‑damaged skin is more sensitive and at higher risk of irritation from exfoliation, extraction, or LED therapy.
Contraindications include open wounds, active cystic acne, recent chemical peels, recent isotretinoin use, and severe skin infections. Always disclose medications, medical conditions, and pregnancy so your therapist can advise, modify, or defer treatment.
