Get answers to common questions about Deep Cleansing Facial.
During your appointment we'll cleanse, perform safe extractions, apply a customized mask, tone, and finish with a relaxing face massage and moisturizer. The treatment takes about 45–60 minutes and aims to detoxify pores and improve clarity.
Extractions may cause mild, temporary discomfort, but our esthetician uses gentle techniques to minimize pain and inflammation. Most clients report tolerable pressure and immediate relief afterward; we can adjust intensity to keep you comfortable.
For congested or oily skin, we recommend scheduling this facial every 4–6 weeks to maintain clear pores and prevent breakouts. Normal or combination skin can follow a 6–8 week plan; we’ll tailor recommendations to your needs.
If your skin is sensitive or easily irritated, extractions may not be suitable. We recommend the Oxygen Facial instead, which avoids manual extractions while providing gentle deep cleansing and hydration. Consult us before booking.
Avoid heavy makeup, vigorous exfoliation, direct sun, and hot saunas for 24–48 hours. Use a gentle cleanser, the recommended moisturizer, and SPF. If extractions were done, keep treated areas clean to reduce infection risk.
We advise waiting at least 12–24 hours before applying makeup to allow pores to settle and reduce irritation risk. If you must, use non-comedogenic products and ensure skin is clean; ask about mineral makeup options.
