Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Deep Bikini.

A Deep Bikini removes more hair from the inner and upper bikini area, creating a cleaner, more defined edge than a basic bikini wax. It targets hair closer to the labia and pubic mound while maintaining client comfort and privacy.

Some discomfort is normal, but our estheticians use techniques to minimize pain, including skin tension, quick strips, and soothing pre-wax numbing or post-wax calming products. Communicate sensitivity levels so we can adjust technique for a more comfortable experience.

For best results, hair should be about a quarter inch (roughly two weeks' growth). Too short hair won't grip wax; too long hair can increase discomfort, so trim slightly if needed before your appointment.

Exfoliate gently two days before and avoid heavy lotions on the day. Arrive clean, avoid retinoids or strong acids for a week, and consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever if you're sensitive. Share medications or skin concerns beforehand.

Keep the area clean and dry for 24 hours; avoid tight clothing, hot baths, saunas, and sexual activity for 24 to 48 hours to reduce irritation. Use gentle, fragrance-free soothing products and exfoliate lightly after five to seven days to prevent ingrown hairs.

Clients with sunburn, open wounds, active infections, recent chemical peels, or on certain medications like isotretinoin should avoid waxing. Pregnancy, severe varicose veins, and certain skin conditions may require medical clearance. Always disclose health history during booking for safe service.
