Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Ear.
Yes. When performed by a trained technician we avoid the inner ear canal and use gentle techniques and products. A patch test can be done for sensitive skin, and aftercare reduces irritation and promotes healing.
Appointments are short—usually 10 to 20 minutes including consultation and prep. Timing depends on hair amount and any concerns, but most clients are in and out quickly with immediate visible results.
Bleeding or damage is rare when waxing is done correctly. We never insert wax into the ear canal. If you have cuts, infections, or skin conditions, inform us first so we can recommend alternatives.
Maintenance typically ranges from every 4 to 6 weeks depending on individual hair growth. Some clients prefer scheduling based on visible regrowth or personal grooming preferences for a consistently tidy appearance.
It’s best to avoid new piercings immediately after waxing. Wait at least 24–48 hours before handling or inserting jewelry to reduce infection risk; for fresh piercings follow your piercer’s recommended aftercare timeline.
Before waxing, avoid blood-thinning medications and heavy alcohol, and ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long. Afterward, avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, and scratching. Use recommended soothing products and gently cleanse the area.
